As an enthusiastic amateur photographer I tried many areas of photography. The hardest one is probably macro photography and especially of insects. Striving for the perfect photo involves locating an interesting insect, then I find myself usually kneeling or even lying down into some bush or thorny flowers, trying to approach cautiously, yet close enough with my invasive lens, playing with focus, depth of field, exposure and composition... to realise just before firing away that those tiny yet marvelous creatures have vanished in a split of a second - sometimes landing on the next flowers, making you going over the same process tediously again...
