I'm an IT engineer working in a sales department of a network secury appliance vendor. As such, photography is simply a hobby of mine.

My pictures may vary a lot as I'm not specializing on any particular kind of photography. Maybe I've just not found my field yet. On the other hand, I can't spend enough time to create the perfect shot and hence I like to capture and share the views and details I find beautiful, particular or interesting.

I've bought my first digital camera in 1999 and taken an estimated 10'000 pictures until 2012, when I started to invest more time and some more money into photography, because I was given an old Sigma SD14 with a couple of lenses. That camera made me feel to own a somewhat professional camera, but it also challenged my skills of handling a camera...
