To me photography is a way to interact with the world around me and to communicate with people I encounter. The act of taking photos is an adventure that I savor as I drive around blasting music that accompanies the mood of the photos I'm taking. I am fascinated by the history of places I travel to and stories of the people I meet, and my goal is to reveal something in them, however overt or obscure. I'm drawn to things that would be easy to miss and things that are juxtaposed in everyday life. Preserving subtle chaos in an image is something I strive for. I aim to convey these things to people and make them appear as they would in a reverie. I'm also heavily influenced by music and cinema with my work.

I've come to Flickr to interact with others with a similar drive as mine and to engage in conversation about what I consider the most powerful medium of expression. I would love to receive comments, good, bad, or indifferent, and constructive criticism when it applies.
