Every chapter in my books seems to center around a fine art. Whether performing music, songwriting, visual art or photography, it's what holds my attention and efforts in life. (Well, I also have to pause now and then to waterski, waverunner ride, kayak, or build a couple homes too.) Whichever art I pursue, I always jump in, tread in the muck before fine tuning my direction, techniques and perfecting my expression. Being a high school teacher has lead my interests from teaching a successful music program, to founding a charter school, to teaching film photography and creating a digital photography/graphic arts program. My latest chapter is driving me to research and utilize techniques from some excellent photographers who might toss me any table scraps of knowledge. I must say, that I've learned a lot in the past couple of years from pros and freelance photographers who have been very gracious to share. Lately, I've fallen in love with waterfalls, landscapes and outdoor model shooting. I love the many challenges and surprises in natural lighting and timing included in those types of shoots! Adam Attoun and Chaybert have unknowingly been leading me around this site to some awesome work. Adam has put up with my begging emails and pantings. Love the work put out by both of these guys. I'm also a big fan of Santillo's art and have to give him credit for all his help. Anyway, I'm starting this new chapter and looking forward to the journey. Flickr on!
