I've called this a "miscellany" because the subject material is somewhat random.

I am interested in what some might call "geeky" things, meaning related to engineering and technology.

I've had a 40+ year career in technology and engineering, so I was in a way paid to carry out my hobby.

However, as I have aged, I have become increasingly more at home with the "druid within me", and so more gentle and natural aspects of life have come more to the fore, so you will find these kind of images in here as well.

I am completed dunderhead when it comes to the visual arts (slightly less clueless about the "aural arts", or so I keep telling myself), so my efforts to convey my artistic interests in these photographs are probably amateurish and clumsy, but they do try to reflect where my interest are, albeit clumsily.

As I enjoy looking at the efforts of others who try in their own way to express their view of the world in their photographs (I'm always seeking to learn), then I hope some folk may also gain some sort of enjoyment from this odd collection of my efforts.

As my granddaughter likes to say "sharing is caring", and I like to share what I regard as my best efforts, and enjoy the fact that others like to share theirs too, and this is what inspires me to continue along this strange path ...
