Phellow Photo Phreaks:

I am honored to be in your company. Thanks to all who have given me feedback. I still have lots of ideas and nowhere near enough time in the day to spew them into cyberspace.

Each time I work on a project I think it is trivial and then it takes on a life of its own and leads to other things and so on... My photostream is far too eclectic but I keep having this feeling like it is coalescing incrementally.

Flickr motivates me to do my art and inspires me to always do better, but it feeds my obsessive side a bit. When I look at my photostream, I still don’t think it represents how I’ve grown artistically.

I find myself going back to square format more and more. I don't know if it is because it caters so beautifully to my need for symmetry or if all those years working with a Hasselblad endeared me to it. My need for symmetry bothers me a bit... but what the hell, without it everything would be chaos... which btw I have been trying to work more into my work.

Also, I like how I am embodying my screen name through my work!

Thank you to all who have shot me feedback. I will try to do the same for you in the Flickr community. I am especially open to constructive criticism. I'm not kiddin' ya. -G

Here is a screen shot of my little pixie on Explore! (Surrounded by two wonderful photos by Gary D Hall (The Spudzinator) and I Like My Bed.)

The following photo was my first to break 100 views and make it into Explore! so there's a special place in my "heart" for it. (Now it's over 600.)

Also, this tribute to Heath Ledger has gone viral with over 65,000 views (go figure.) I was excited to put it into the 20,000+ Views pool along with all the photos of people's girlfriends in bikinis ;)
