I have been an amateur for many years starting with b&w film which I processed myself. Currently I use a Nikon D200 and an F90x. I usually use Photoshop only to correct deficiencies in RAW conversion software or scanner output. I prefer my own photos to have a "natural" look, but that is only a personal thing.

My themes are architecture, cityscape, landscape and seascape, and people in unguarded moments but I will shoot anything half interesting and see what happens. I leave macro to the marfan who is the best photographer in the universe and also my squeeze. Lucky me.

In my spare time I am a computer programmer, web site designer and work for neighbourhood amenity groups.

In January 2008 we moved from Brighton to Madrid in Spain. My stuff is still improving but still not good enough.
