I believe I first met Dan my freshman year in college, side stage at a Tilly & the Wall show at the Middle East in Cambridge, MA. We were both shooting the band's performance when he asked me who I was shooting for. I'd never been asked that before, so didn't really know how to answer. I'd always just taken pictures for fun. As a result, Dan/Future Breed was the first person to confront me with the possibility of taking photography past the boundaries of simply a "hobby". Having seen him on every stage at every show I've attended for the past few years, I've loved to see his talent progress. Dan's success, growth and ambition is truly inspirational.
