I am a self-taught artist and throughout the years have taken workshops to improve my skills as an artist. I find that there is an endless supply of inspiration around me! Nature, human experiences, and simply the human form are what I draw and create from. My last show focused on Africa and the sad affairs of that continent. I was truly inspired by the Afghan women and their endeavor to survive and stay strong. I was able to work on reliefs on the vases I wheel threw and altered for the Nomad exhibit in November of 2009. I love dancers and their ability to move gracefully and emotionally so they will be my models I will draw and work from for my upcoming exhibit.
