My work references landscape and how I perceive place. A secondary objective is to show that while superb areas of natural beauty still remain in most of the country, these are threatened by rapid development and encroachment.
Curating gallerists include, among others: the artist Sam Gilliam, Mark Van Proyen, arts critic and professor at San Francisco Art Institute, Florence Lynch, Robert Rosenblum of the Guggenheim Museum, Holly Solomon, Harry Rand of the National Museum of American Art, DC, Lowery Sims of the Museum of Art and Design, artist Miriam Shapiro and Linda Cathcart of the Contemporary Arts Museum in Houston.
