In 2013, Fullerton College celebrates its centennial, giving opportunity to educate, celebrate and commemorate. The college is creating events throughout the year and beyond that will honor the college's unique past and prepare it for the next 100 years.

 

A dynamic history exhibition will run from April to July 2013, at the Fullerton Museum, complementing the centennial with a look at Fullerton College’s past as well as its present and future. This innovative exhibition will reveal the diversity of experiences and cultural backgrounds that show Fullerton College and Orange County as centers that have influenced the nation.

 

Fullerton College was founded in 1913 as Fullerton Junior College and its present name changed in 1972. It is the oldest community college in continuous operation in California and one of the oldest in the United States. Fullerton College is part of the North Orange County Community College District, located in Fullerton, California and serving over 22,000 students a year.
