Born 1982 in Munich, I draw and paint to communicate my thoughts since early childhood and was surrounded by Feininger photographs in my parent's home.

Film photography is related to painting: Working and understanding tangible material, learning and mastering a craft that involves manual processes.

Film photography, especially candids, also is the opposite of painting: The situation in the frame is witnessed, not imagined.

I am a father of two. My favorite artists work with crayons on blank A4 print-out paper.
