I'm a Ph.D candidate in mechanical engineering at the University of Washington, in Seattle, WA. I graduated from University of Portland with a BSME in 2009, and previous to that, I lived in Hilo, Hawaii. I used to do a lot of freelance portraiture, and quite a bit of student media photography.

I also build cameras.
