My name is Mark, I live in London and have a full time job in the London Ambulance Services. I never thought I would see myself as a so called 'amateur photographer' , you need to be cautious when applying a label to your name however I do feel that is what I am. Im no professional and I do not intend to become one, well not in the immediate future anyway but I found photography as a beautiful way to capture life.

For me its not about a simple 'point and click' and Im not really that interested in having people pose for a camera lens all the time. I want to capture life as it happens, people in the moment, not putting on a fake smile for the camera so they can add some more generic photos to facebook. You know the ones I mean right? I mean you see them these days being taken and you can tell straight away that its a possible new profile picture.

Anyway this is a blog for me to share my pictures, each one I will caption and I hope you enjoy.
