I cant believe I've only know G for a year, seems so long since we attended the first BIG Flickr meet in Manchester. Since he has become a true friend, I dunno how, I dont even remember liking him at first ;-) Over the course of the past year we've both grown as photographers, helping each other along the way both technique wise and sharing ideas, as well as the fact that neither of us is afraid to critique one another. I have a healthy respect for him as a photographer and as a person, apart from the fact he can be a total PEDANT at times... Whats that? I made how many spelling mistakes ;-) Cheers G! I can't think of anything smart, witty or comedic to say about G's photography. Just that I'm outstanded by how fast he has learnt the ways of long exposure night photography. I feel that now he is experienced in derelict building light painting and the infamous phone box under low light technique that he is going to morph into manchester's king of night photography. His pictures make me proud because I feel that I've played a part in helping him become an official night photographer. This sounds quite a lot like a parent's evening testimonial - I guess I'll have to end it by saying that he's too easily distracted. Watch this space for some killer photographs.
