I'm just an old dude learning to be a picture-man to see the world in a way that brings me happiness and peace. Taking photographs and the process of editing them calms my mind. It makes me happy.
In late 2024, at 50+, I was introduced to the world of photography when I bought my first camera to support a niece's interest in the subject. Through the camera lens the true beauty of the world began to reveal itself in new ways and I learned the value of patient, intentional observation, and found that sometimes the mundane is most interesting subject of all.

Everything is worthy of a picture, and if I'm lucky maybe an image of mine will evoke a bit more in the observer than casual indifference.
That's basically it, but...
