I have enjoyed all things natural history since as far back as I remember - I still remember the excitement of seeing my first green treefrog as a child all the way up to seeing Atelopus zeteki in the Panamanian jungle. Today, I can still go see the green treefrog, but the Atelopus will likely only be seen in a zoo.
My volunteer work with the Atlanta botanical garden (consulting veterinarian; native orchid, carnivorous plant, and conservation field assistant) has combined the best of all worlds in facilitating travel and enjoyment of many natural areas in the SE US.
My continuing work with amphibian conservation has and will allow me to travel throughout the tropics and beyond assisting with many native amphibian conservation projects.
