FrISC: The Friars Club Improv + Sketch Competition

is the newest Friars Club effort to foster the next generation of comedy filmmakers. The top 5 improv and top 5 sketch teams are chosen from a pool of submissions to compete in a live showdown at the UCB Theatre in late June. One winner is crowned each night by a panel of judges composed of comedy icons. Each winning team receives a cash prize to create a short film that will then debut in the fall at the Friars Club Comedy Film Festival.
