Vision

The Friends of the Lake Cities Library is a non-profit organization that, in partnership with the Lake Cities Library, aims to focus public attention and local politicians on the services, programs, facilities and needs of the library. The Friends plan to represent the Library at community events and fundraisers and make it a point to always encourage public use of the Library. The Friends intend to increase fundraising and service opportunities for the Library by donating their time, gifts, and funding to the library in order to meet the needs of the community. The Friends will also show appreciation and support of the Library’s amazing staff and volunteers.

Mission

The Friends of the Lake Cities Library is a nonprofit organization dedicated to 1) the active promotion of the Lake Cities Library, 2) the welfare of the Library, and 3) the support of the Library through an association of friends from the community and beyond.
