Not only being one of my oldest and best friends, he is without a doubt a soulful and driven artist (in countless ways). Ever since we did Everyman in the sixth grade I knew that the ability for him to be an individual and stick to his beliefs would help him develop his artistic capabilities(well maybe I didn't think that when we were 10-11 years old but you know what I mean). His photo's remind me of Jeff Bridges photography, yes the actor, in that they look like snap shots, but carry an artistic minded heaviness. As I have heard it said by mentors of mine, photographers take photos out of a passion and drive that is only understood by other photographers, BenBen is true documentarian of life and nature.

how can i follow th one below? ben is honest. he gets right in there. he sees through my bullshit to my truest self and i love that. i respect it. he is so real, it kills me. though he is full of shit in a lot of ways i won't mention here, he knows it at least. he takes pictures sparingly, something i find it most difficult to do myself. he isn't trendy, hip, stylish, or hollywood. he has those sneakers with wheelz on the bottom of them, "heelies", i believe they are called, and he looks like he is 17 when he wears them. he isn't afraid of whales, and he has gone scuba diving. he know a lot about hipster music that i don't know. he is brave, and funny, and of course, he has beautiful eyes. he inspires and challenges me. in short, i like his style, he is my insta-freind! he took me in for a week without knowing me and we took amazing pictures by the pool. this could go on and on so i will stop, but if you don't know, now you know.

What can I say about Ben. First of all, he's everything a person could want in a lover. He's soft-spoken, sensitive, sensual and has a great sense of humor. If I were a woman I think I would make it a priority to get to know him a little better. Of course he is also an amazing artist - a creative spirit who breathes life into every social situation he enters. I have been in love with Ben for a long time, but I realize he is destined for bigger and better things. So I languish on the sidelines, and watch him move so gracefully through a plethera of experiences and adventures. Ben - you rock. Keep it up.
