I am food that has been organized into sentience by ancient DNA. I am a fleeting eddy in an enormous confluence of events. I am a bullet, suddenly self-aware in mid-trajectory and naively proud of my speed.

On flickr, though, I'm an amateur photographer. I mostly shoot film because I think it's beautiful. I love Ilford and Fuji film, Nikons and Hasselblads. I'm hoping to shoot more medium format in the coming years.

I almost never use image-editing programs, most of my images are straight out of the camera or scanner.
