I am a semi-retired teacher of Art History and English Literature, living and working in South West France. I say semi-retired, I now run a busy and successful Chambres D'Hotes, where I specialise in Gourmet Food and Wine Breaks. I am also a food writer and many of my articles and recipes are published in major UK food magazines, as well as some of my photos.

Our Auberge is situated near Cognac and Bordeaux, and it’s my pleasure to invite you all to view my food photography, all cooked, served and photographed in my French country kitchen.

I am originally from beautiful North Yorkshire in England........a place I go back to at least two or three times a year, to visit friends and family; near the North York Moors, which is wild and stunning........like my local pub!
