Gary is one of those photographers who's eye for nature just wows me every time I look at a new upload by him. I'm not even a bird lover, but he has inspired me to look at them in a different way. I love how he captures each moment that we rarely see. When everyone captures them in their most common poses, Gary captures them in the frames in between each bird's mundane tasks. He makes what I once thought was boring subject, absolutely fantastic and something to look for. Thanks for sharing your vision with us Gary, you're truly a fantastic photographer.

When I've had a question about equipment or how he took a particular shot he's always been kind enough to answer my questions. Somehow he manages to capture the impossible shots (do the birds pose for him?) every time. If given a chance to spend the day with any Flickr nature photographer, my choice would be Gary Woodburn - no question about it.
