Hi, I am Fred.

This is my second Flickr account. The first one was all personal and the focus was on the comments.

Now I am trying the opposite. Pictures which have nothing to do with me other than that I was there taking the picture.

My aim is to be broad-band and not specialized in any kind of picture theme.

I do like vivid colours and the blue in the sky and try to catch as much as possible of that.

I use a Pentax K10D, a Sigma SD14 and a Sigma DP1s. The Pentax is very good and the Sigma is great as a more portable camera with still a large imaging sensing chip. The SD14 is the most recent addition. it may be replacing the Pentax over time, because of the extremely low noise and sharpness it provides.

Before I used a million different pocket cameras and kept selling them as I was always frustrated with lack of picture quality coming from too many pixels on too small sensors.

Highly recommend the DP1s as portable solution to all Flickr friends.
