Intro

So you have somehow found your way to my photostream. Good for you...or not!

Originally got started in photography after getting a Nikon D40x to snap pictures of the newly arrived baby. As it turned out, photography was a lot more fun than I had anticipated.

Equipment

By the way...

The 50mm f1.8 is some 20 years old and works flawlessly. My wife got it for her old F-501(N2020 in some places). Clearly, Nikon is not Microsoft when it comes to backward compatability. Great lens optically as well.

The F-501 also works flawlessly, even with a missing battery compartment lid (who needs a lid when there is duct tape?).
