I love the way Fred shows India and her peoples, he is an important constituent of the group of French photographers on Flickr who inspire me personally (and possibly many others) to pick up my camera and discover my own land. He is in love with India and is so well at portraying this land it's people in a good light and loving it in-spite of her numerous shortcomings. On my short meet in Delhi I found Fred to be an amiable idealist who carries the most basic equipment (fixed lens on a 450D) and is not afraid to transgress the stereotypical tourist's boundaries (staying with the sadhus) to produce magnificent photographic results. I wish that he continues to travel and keep inspiring people by his pictures and his attitude about life - there is more to life than accumulating money.

Gracias a esta imagen llena de misterio y cotidianidad a un mismo tiempo ( v. www.flickr.com/ph... ) conocí el trabajo de Fred, que sabe transmitirnos a través de sus fotos la pasión por una cultura y un país. Con un estilo de marcada personalidad, donde se unen la sinceridad y el dominio de las sutilezas de la luz y el color, las fotografías de Fred nos seducen día a día con la contundencia de las cosas hechas con el corazón. Nadie debe perderse una de sus últimas series, la titulada "Ganesh Chaturthi" ( v. www.flickr.com/ph... ), donde la devoción hinduista nos arrastra por las calles de Paris, con una extraña intensidad, poco frecuente en las imágenes de Flickr.
