I've had the pleasure of corresponding with her through email as well as exchanging comments on photos. There's no doubt in my mind that Darlene's macros rank among the best on the site, which means they're among the best in the world - given that Flickr is so huge! Her drop macros are awesome. After a minor glitch was fixed a short while back, Darlene's photos sprang on to the the Explore scene, where they belong...so you can find some of the best of her work there as well as in her portfolio. I look for her name on the big E each day! And, Darlene's photography is not limited to just macros! Her insight and passion for the best in photography is reflected in all of her work. It began from rose photos! Most delicate and elegant rose and pearl photos caught my eyes. I wrote a comment or so and we started writing to each other and found out that we both were about to buy similar cameras ... DMC-FZ50s. We decided to learn together using these our new toys. We exchanged tips and experiences about settings and results and finally.. as it seems.. we made it! We learned how to make great noiseless photos by this longzoom camera. Learning was a great journey with frazze46. She is a wonderful photographer and greatest of friends.
