Bits of me are scattered all over the interwebs - The Golden Fleece, Real Photographs and elsewhere.

I've been absorbed by image-making for more years than I care to remember, both as a devoted 'hobbyist' and a professional photographer. I don't think I will ever tire of the magic.

I am retired, but still work occasionally in professional photography, using Nikon DSLRs and Adobe Lightroom as my primary tools.

But my true passion remains the darkroom and I use film formats ranging from 35mm to 10x8, primarily in black and white.

I have also explored making digital negatives for traditional silver printing and am lucky to have taken part in a workshop with Tim Rudman to extend my knowledge of the lith process, together with toning in a range of formulae, all of which I prepare myself from raw chemicals.

I also have a ridiculously varied collection of old cameras, but that's another story.
