2026? - Just realised I joined Flickr over 20 years ago, scary...

Haven't used it in a while but may resume this year as Instagram has got ridiculous; when it started it was good but now I dislike it immensely.

Bits of me are scattered all over the interwebs - The Golden Fleece, Real Photographs and elsewhere.

I've been absorbed by image-making for more years than I care to remember, both as a devoted 'hobbyist' and a professional photographer. I don't think I will ever tire of the magic.

I am, of course, retired, but can't stop making photographs. I use any camera that comes to hand, but mainly these days an iPhone I have to admit.

I'm still passionate about darkroom work and use film formats ranging from 35mm to 10x8, primarily in black and white. I like experimenting with old processes, mixing my own chemicals, coating my own paper, etc.

I also have a ridiculously varied collection of old cameras, but that's another story.
