I was a "happy snapper" for many years, then I started using my photos to paint pictures from. Finally, over the last three years, I have done little or no art work and concentrated more on my photography. Initially, everything was on automatic settings, but little by little I am discovering the differences that individual settings make to ones pictures and have also become more critical of my results. I like to experiment and hopefully learn more each time. I enjoy taking macro, animals, landscapes/seascapes, patterns and quirky scenarios, but not many people, unless they have interesting faces. Colour and light are also important to me.
