For a long time I’ve worked in a supporting role for a independent consultancy firm in Utrecht, The Netherlands. Supporting being archivist-librarian-researcher-web editor and everything in between. I very much enjoyed working with an external portrait photographer for our company’s website.

Since my retirement I continued doing photographic assignments mainly for the annual report of my employer. On a side track -more or less by accident- one of my photos ended up on the homepage of my hometown, Utrecht. That homepage features only one panoramic photo which renews every 2-3 days. Since that first one in the end of 2024 many more followed (40+). One of the requirements is that the photo should be recent. So I cann’t rest on my laurels, it urges me to get outside and be creative once more.
