I was raised in Louisville ,Ky in an area known as Germantown. When I was 14 a young hot rodder named Ronny had a 65 Chevelle,he lived in the second block of Samuel Street.Ronny was the idol of all us Stingray bike riders at the time.Well a year later I went to spend the summer with my sister at Radcliff,.Ky and got a summer job at Fort Knox.Low and behold down the street from her sat a 65 Chevelle for sale just like Ronny's.I worked out a payment plan with the owner,Garland Anson and by the end of summer she was mine.About three years later I married and was forced by circumstance to sell it.I have regretted selling that car ever since. So fast forward to 2004 .My wife of 30 years and I decided to go around one last time and purchased another 65 Chevelle from Jerry Poole of Soperton,Georgia. Now I am able to create the dreams I had for my first car.Peaches is now and always will be an extended part of our family.I hope you enjoy the pictures, there will be more as they become available.
