Now retired and living on Wirral, I have been a keen amateur photographer since the age of 12 when I sold some photographs of ships on the Mersey to school friends.
I started out with a Pentax S-1A graduating through Nikons via fixed lens Rollies to Mamiya C220s and one 6x4.5 with a nice assortment of lenses for both. Essential was the eye-level Pentaprism for the 6x4.5 Although I sold most just before values dropped, I have kept one Nikon and one C220 up in the loft for posterity.
Now I use three 4 digitals, (3 off DSLRs & 1 compact) my favourite being my NikonD5200 with 18mm-105mm. 10mm-20mm. 70mm-300mm and two f2.8 lenses. Sigma 17-50 f2.8 and Sigma 70-200 f2.8. I also have a Tamron 90mm macro lens. I still love my Ricoh R8 which is always with me. Married for over 50 years, we have a holiday home in North Wales where we spend a great deal of time now.
