21st century. A world full of upheavals, changes and challenges.

"Dystopia”. Everything is questioned. There are new realities.

A world through which I move barefoot.

My feet, skin in contact with unfamiliar, gloomy, harsh, cold and often disturbing environment.

Such contrasts interest me.

My feet also lead me into the world of the Japanese aesthetic of wabi-sabi (侘寂), this aesthetic of imperfection characterized by asymmetry, roughness, irregularity, simplicity, and economy.

I am vulnerable, … but I’m not without hope for a better world, hope for utopia.

Another truth …

I like to feel the ground beneath my soles. "Earthing…".

Walking barefoot grounds me; for me, it's a particularly sensual way of perceiving the world.

It leads me to a direct connection with history and the present, and everything around me.

Anyway, I'm a dreamer and a realist depending on the life situation.
