I've dabbled in digital, and it has its place, but I never tire of discovering the magic in film. In many ways, this is the golden age of film: great cameras that most of us couldn't afford new, now available cheaply, and excellent film available like Ektar, Portra, Acros. Long may it continue.

In 35mm I mainly use Nikon manual focus SLRs and prime lenses supplemented with a small Olympus point and shoot, the mju-ii. In 120 I've settled on a Fuji GW690III rangefinder for its mightly 6x9 negatives and a Rolleicord Va for its different pace and process, and its charming rendition of subjects.

My subject interests are varied, including urban and environmental fragments, some landscape, and portraits.
