Hello everybody!

My name is Francesco Carloni and I'm from Bergamo, in Italy, I graduated two years ago in Medicin and I work as a Doctor.

I've been doing analog photography for about 7 years, it all started when I discovered my grandfather's film cameras and I couldn't resist the wish of using them again. Since then I've also purchased other film cameras to expand my vintage cameras collection, I shoot both 35mm and medium format, I self develop the negatives and scan them with a flatbed scanner. I've had a few experiences in the darkroom too, but unluckily I don't have time nor room enough to practice it at the moment. Below my pictures you will always find the "technical aspects" of the shot: camera, lens, film, developing process and scanner. I'm not a big fan of photo editing, I usually crop the frame when necessary, manually remove dust and slightly adjust curves and contrast, nothing more, since I don't think that photo editing should really belong to analog photography.

Feel free to ask if you have any question about my pictures or the process I do, I'll gladly answer!

If you want to collaborate or want to be portrayed by me, write me a DM.

Cheers!!!
