Hello Jan Robert, some days ago, my colleague Sabine, who was searching for a really eye-catching title picture for our company's 2012 calendar, discovered your really outstanding shot "Don't walk in the tracks". No matter of doubt: This is the ideal choice for us, since our company BBR Verkehrstechnik at Braunschweig/Germany is supplying railway equipment to your local public transport operator Bybanen. Your picture expresses dynamics, modernism and tradition at once - all values which we like to see attributed to our products as well. So I stopped by at your Flickr account, became curious and checked your other galleries as well - and was immediately really impressed by your versatile but simultaneously very personal style. Especially I like your skilled and artistic way of showing us your place by means somewhere in the visual borderland between photography, painting and printart. Well...I have to correct myself: "Showing us your place" is just one layer of your art. Making your place a stage for poetic thoughts, emotions and fantasies would be probably a much more matching definition.
