Taking pictures that look good is one thing. Making them look great is another, but getting someone to stop and spend some time in them is what its all about. The purpose of a picture is to tell a story, convey an emotion or share an idea. Simple! :-)

Making pictures has become much more than a hobby and much less of a chore. It can sometimes be the only thing keeping me sane sometimes but whether it's used as a means to share ideas or to vent emotion I have never felt more at home in the medium than I do now.

It has been one of the only things that has prevailed no-matter how much other people and even myself have tried to put down as unreachable and foolish as an aspiration.

As a result I will follow my first passion and not settle for second best. Come September 2010, I will be starting a BA Hons course in Photography and in doing so, shooting headfirst into what was only a dream as a child.

I can only expect as much from you too.
