I always wanted to do portraits, until I realised I wasn't very good at it and that even though I like portrait photography, I don't really like doing it. So I started checking what I was actually attracted to, what I enjoyed to capture with my camera as a memory of that particular thing at that particular moment.

What I enjoy is the relation of the human element with its environment, that environment can be "natural", like landscapes, settlings in a rural area, etc; or urban. With nature I enjoy mostly travel photography, I'm particularly fond of taking photographs when I'm in a transport of some sort, I like the way light works in those areas and the effects speed, light and weather can cause. In a urban environment, I like to photograph the impact man makes on the urban landscape, that's why I love rusty, dark, worn things. I don't like the new and the beautiful, I like the ugly, what's being left out and neglected. I like it because there's a particular feeling into it that reminds me of another time, of all that's passed by this thing and the fact that it goes unremarked by most, so when I photograph it, I try to bring back the life and the beauty out of what's despised.
