: Photosensitive cells are most heavily packed in the center of the retina, a small region called the Fovea, so the highest resolution part of the vision is the center the center of the photographer’s visual field. Away from this, in your peripheral vision, resolution is much coarser.
Because only a small portion of the retina is actually employed for distinct vision, it is vitally important that the motor apparatus governing the direction of gaze be extremely precise in its operation, and rapid. The gaze shifts swiftly and instinctively during the process of reading the situation; this process indubitably engages the photographer to interpret, add or leave out information ::
