I'm Jay... well, my name's actually Juan, but i like that nickname ;p I speak spanish and english, no preference for either of them.

I'm from Montevideo, Uruguay. It's a small country, but it has a lot of beautiful sights to photograph, from natural wonders to beautiful cities. The nature is everywhere, and the cityscape is much quieter than any major city. The people in here are very friendly, too.

I have been into photography for a while now. Since i discovered a few years back, i couldn't let go of it. It's a wonderful way to express myself, transmit concepts and capture everyday scenes. This last one, for me, gives photography a whole new level. It helps to show everyday situations and injustices that we may not stop to watch on our daily life.

Another thing i really love about photography is that it helps me rediscover myself. Looking at yourself from different perspectives helps you find who you really are, and it shows you that own image is as easily built as it is transformed. It actually helps you accept who you are.
