Matthias schafft es mit seinen minimalistischen Aufnahmen Aufmerksamkeit zu erregen, die Fotos sind auf das wesentliche beschränkt aber immer mit einem (mindestens kleinem) Clou dabei. to be honest, this is the first time i am going Matthias's photosite. after i started, i could not stop and had to move on to the following pages to see what else he's got. i was truly inspired to write him a testimonial, what i've seen is nothing short of pure creativity at work. many of his photos makes me ask myself "how does he see things like these". let it be everyday things, abstract, or whatever that catches his work is absolutely thick with CREATIVITY. what impresses me most is that, to my believe, his pictures goes thru little post processing. so what you see is artistic ability at it's best. truly great stuff ....

"joe.herford" is about angle, minimalism and art. I appreciate all the iDeas from him, a simple iDea but big outcome, which is the best example to illustrate "Less is More". And this is even more difficult to have a meaningful detAiLs and focus, but "joe.herford" always produces it in a perfect way. He is really an artist, using an extraordinary way and angle in telling stories to us, no matter B&W, buildings, scenery.... the iDea is always very focus and can touch your heart. He is a very talent artist that can use minimalism to communicate with the viewers. You can always have so many inspirations and imaginations from his stories. Joe's photos faszinate me more and more! His stream is full of excellent work: a great sense for contrasts, colors, symmetry and the extraordinary. Sometimes he gets into a stream of textures, details, fragments, urban abstracts, colors, shadows, reflections (...) and you are forced to follow him deep down to the ground.
