Dorset is second best county, and it's warmer - close-run thing.

Favourite places: Yorkshire and Dorset obviously, Yorkshire Wolds and Corfe Castle specifically. And don't forget Dales and North York Moors, Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay. Studland Peninsula, Durdle Door, too.

Outside England, give me St Lucia and Cuba; Greece and Croatia; Sydney and Perth; and Victoria Falls.

But the best place in t' world is Scarborough, North Yorkshire.
