With my partner, Joseph, I moved up from Yorkshire to Dumfries & Galloway in 2007, where we now live in Dalbeattie, and run as holiday cottage rental business, 'assisted' by Paddy and Zak our retired greyhounds.

Forest Edge is the name of our holiday cottage in Dalbeattie, close to the Solway Coast, while we have a second property on the harbourside in Garlieston, near Wigtown. Both make fantastic bases for exploring the beautiful countryside and coastline of this part of south-west Sctoland
