This Atlas is designed primarily for pathologists who are interested in learning about medical foreign bodies and who are seeking to identify medical foreign bodies that they encounter in their practices . The foreign bodies are organized into albums labeled Exogenous, Endogenous, and Undetermined. If you just wish to browse, all of the images are displayed on the home (photostream) page. Clicking on any photostream image will bring up a page that has a larger version of the image as well as a description. That page also has a box for any comments that you might wish to make.

The Atlas has a powerful search engine that can be helpful if you are seeking to find images of a particular foreign body. Clicking on the search icon on the home (photostream) page will display images from this site only. Clicking on the search icon elsewhere will display images from this site as well as images from all of Flickr that meet your search criteria.

This collection is a continuing work in progress. Its growth depends almost entirely on image contributions from fellow pathologists. If wish to contribute an image(s) please email to frbodies@gmail.com. Your contributed images will be attributed to you.
