This year Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD) partnered with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) to raise awareness for Type 1 Diabetes research through its NHRA Funny Car Program.

In May, JDRF kids were asked to submit their design for the Motorcraft/Quick Lane/Custom Accessories Shelby Mustang Funny Car to be driven by Bob Tasca III during the NHRA U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis over Labor Day weekend.

The Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD) and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) “Design Your Own Funny Car” Contest winner raised over $84, 000 for Type 1 Diabetes research.
