Any photographs which appear here will be the result of chance and personal preference. I live on the seashore so there will be a surfeit of sea, birds, boats and long shots of any activity which catches my eye. I have a recently acquired Nikon D40 which already is suffering from chronic mishandling - sand has got into the 18-55mm lens which crunches as it zooms; even worse I dropped the 70- 300 mm lens, with ugly results. I don't do Photoshop ( that is I dont have it and wouldn't know what to do if I did).

I am also beginning to upload some of the slides and prints taken from 20 years and more of international traveling- mostly shot with a venerable Canon A1, complete with the timeworn scratches and specks
