I am not a professional photographer per se; but I have donated some of my photos in frames I've constructed, for local fundraisers.
Since I can remember; I've always loved being outdoors in the wilderness with nature; and now capturing images of interesting subjects with my cameras.... is a plus. Wildlife, Natural Landscapes, Wildflowers, Old Structures are my main subjects of interests; and other things that catch my eye.
The whole technology workings of cameras and lenses; old and new intrigue me. Since 2017; I have been collecting and using old/vintage manual focus lenses on my Canon EOS Rebel T5i and Canon M50 cameras. And on my other Nikon D90, Panasonic GF3 and Canon EOS-M (Gone) cameras. While using the old lenses; I find that each one has its own unique character and that makes it hard to part with any of them. Personally, I like to use the old manual focus/aperture lenses over the digital ones; adapted to my digital cameras.
My home state of Michigan has a diverse beauty of landscapes, variety of lakes, rivers, waterfalls, wildlife & history. And the four seasons of weather change, adds a variety that any photographer would enjoy capturing. I also enjoy viewing images from all over this planet and the techniques used by other photographers. I'm not into this for how many favorites or views. I just enjoy taking photos of things that interest me and then share it with others.
I hope everyone enjoys viewing my images as I do in the photographing of them. ~ Steve
