I crewed onboard several ferry services , shark fishing & harbour service craft. I'm not particular in what I shoot , as long as it's decent and tells a good story albeit through some research afterwards.

Photography can be suggestive , educational or criticised , as long the criticism is constructive and not abusive. I was long-term with my local council in East Dunbartonshire GB for some 32 years before "my recommendation" for early retirement forced upon me as 'dead wood' ( not my words , senior management) in July 2010. In my spare time I go out 'n' about when the opportunity arises. Some of my early photos were taken with a Vivitar fixed lens and and early LG Mobile (not the most visually best captures). Most are taken with my trusty Sony Alpha 200 DSLR.

My photostream has a strong maritime theme. I have an interest in marine which dates back to the mid-1970's.

Railway is a good subject as well. I also take anything that may capture my eye.
