All the info below this paragraph is kinda old. Since yahoo completely fucked up the site's picture display with their relaunch, I'm not posting a lot of new pictures here. Still, I'm coming back to flickr once in a while to see what has happened and still appreciate all likes and comments.
AV-mediadesigner, radio soundtechnician, media arts student, DJ, bum, addicted to cooking and good food, collector of vinylrecords, audioplays, vernacular photography, movies, odd stuff, unable to decide whether I'm the soundguy or the pictureguy, strongly commited to south european countries.
I don't feel the need to devote myself to a single style of photography. That's why my photostream might appear arbitrary and inhomogeneous. I just go out and shoot what I like. Every photographic topic, every subject needs a specific way to look at it, a specific angle, distance, tonality, framing etc. I just wait for a subject to jump at me and than figure out what's the right way to capture it.
IMO many photographers with "a style" just watch out for a subject that fits in their formal, stylistic pattern and leave out everything else the world has to offer. That's why I get bored with their photography so quickly. Only very few manage to stay strictly formalistic and interesting at the same time.
I'll probably never come close to perfection in any category of photography but that's better than getting bored.
To me flickr is the digital equivalent to a giant shoebox where I can keep my prints. I just throw in everything I am shooting. In the long run this should lead to establishing a true portfolio, presented in a different manner on another/my site. Flickr is the place, where I get inspired by other peoples photography, where I can react and receive instant reactions. All this helps me enormously in finding my way through my own work, putting it in some kind of order.
Equipment:
Canon AE-1 Program with a 50mm 1:1,4 and a 28mm 1:2,8 Lens (the one I use most)
Hasselblad 500 C/M with Zeiss Planar (just starting to use this)
Olympus Mju II
Olympus RC 35
Fuji Finepix F30 (hardly anymore)

If I catch you helping yourself, be prepared!!! People without visible streams or profiles who are faving my photos or adding me as a contact will be blocked without hesitation.
