I agree with DigitalFemme that Michael's a wonderful photographer of femininity! He's almost a femme for his non-"Playboy" approach to the look of a girl quietly exploring herself. (I know how that sounds, but I'm really NOT into porno...) I generally enjoy Flickr for the women photogs who seize the opportunity of a digital mirror in which to see themselves as extraordinary sensual beings. And I get permission from some of them to post shots on my little blog (livejournal.com/users/devifemme) and chat a bit about them. But, back to Michael, he uniquely captures that same thing in many of his shots -- without intruding masculinity into the exercise! His Cowgirl Malibu shots, for example, make me hope the cute blonde KNOWS other girls are enjoying her moments among the hay bales. Hey, Mikie, you go, girl!

To think that he only started this hobby of his this year (2005) is evidence of a youth spent watching, looking, learning, and calculating. 2005 is the year when the "time was right".
